How much does home organising cost?

My home organising & decluttering sessions provide practical help & solutions, enabling you to kick-start the clutter clearing in your home or home office space!  Whether it’s just to get things started or something more involved, I can help.

Initial Consultation (30mins): FREE

We’ll have a chat to gain an overview of your needs & to discuss your goals – you can book this in here at a time to suit you. We’ll chat over the phone or using FaceTime or WhatsApp video so I can see your space.

When you’re ready to go ahead, just choose a time for your session and I’ll send over deposit details and my Terms & Conditions for signing.

3 Hour Home or Office Organising session: £120

Once we’ve discussed your needs, simply choose a time & date for your session and I’ll come over to provide hands-on help to sort, declutter and reorganise your possessions. I bring charity, waste and recycling bags, labels, etc, and for home offices I’ll have some things to help tame your paper clutter. You’ll benefit from my suggestions on useful storage solutions, plus hints & tips to avoid a build up of clutter in the future.

Minimum session charge is for 3hours, but most sessions tend to be for 4-6 hours, depending on the level of organisation needed. Sessions include removal of unwanted items to a local charity shop if required (1 car-load per session, subject to size & condition of items) but waste removal is your responsibility.

Weekend & evening appointments are available by arrangement and may incur an additional fee. Additional hours can be added to a session subject to my availability at a rate of £36/hr. Discounted rates are available when booking 10+ hours across 2 or more sessions within a 30-day period.

1 Hour Virtual Organising session: £40

Don’t let your location put you off getting organised! Wherever you are in the world, we’ll work together over FaceTime, WhatsApp video or Zoom to move you towards a more organised space.

You’ll benefit from my 1-2-1 support via video sharing my expert guidance, advice and ideas to plan out your specific organising project and get you going! If you have questions or come across any stumbling blocks during the session I’ll be there to work through them with you.

40 min Body Doubling Session: £35

Ever thought “I’d sort that…if someone was just here with me”? These sessions are for you!

Body Doubling is an effective way to get on with what you know you need to do — but you just need a nudge and someone to keep you in check!

Best for?

  • Quick wins (desk tidy, that kitchen drawer, personal admin)
  • A job you’ve been putting off (making appointment, sourcing something)
  • Staying focused if you have a tendency to drift between tasks
  • If you don’t want / need personalised step-by-step advice
  • Individuals with ADHD who struggle to keep on track or are easily distracted

What is it?

Body Doubling differs from Virtual Organising in that once we’ve checked in to discuss your goals, we’re both on camera, working at the same time. You’ll tackle that task that you’ve been putting off – a messy desk, a corner of your kitchen, the junk drawer, or the I’ll sort it later pile and I’ll be working on my laptop or getting on with my own admin or organising tasks. I’m there to keep you company, help you stay focused, and give you that “someone’s with me” feeling that makes it easier to keep going. I’ll check-in with you briefly once or twice, but essentially I’m your accountability partner, helping to reduce your procrastination and distraction. You stay focused, you work faster and you finally get the thing you’ve been avoiding done!

House Move/Downsizing Support: variable

You have a million things to think about at such a stressful time.

I have the practical experience to assist, answer questions, provide support and ultimately reduce your stress in the run up to your house move. I can work with you in your existing and/or new home, or from my office dealing with suppliers. My service is bespoke depending on the level of support you require for your move. A timesheet will be maintained throughout my support. Please get in touch to discuss how I can help you!

I offer Gift Vouchers for home organising services in Manchester, priced at £120 for a 3-hour session. This can be a great way to kick off an organising project and make a dent in the clutter in your home.

Please check your recipient is ready and willing to start decluttering and organising their home or office space, to avoid gifting an unwanted voucher. If you are thinking of being treated to a voucher for yourself, just direct the buyer this way!

Privacy. All sessions are completely confidential and non-judgemental.

Travel to locations in excess of 15 miles from Sale, M33 (using Google maps) may incur a charge to cover fuel costs. I will discuss this with you during our consultation.

A deposit is required to secure your chosen date & time and is payable at the time of booking.  A confirmation email will be sent once your payment has been received.
